Great Northern Docks (THE COMPANY) warrants its manufactured hardware to be free from defects in material or workmanship, under normal and proper use in fresh water, in accordance with instructions resolved by THE COMPANY for a period of five (5) years from the date of delivery to the CUSTOMER.

The foregoing applies to THE COMPANY’S workmanship in its wood products. The wood material is excluded from this warranty. Synthetic materials, such as composite decking that are used with and or without wood products will carry the warranty provided by its manufacturer and are not covered under THE COMPANY’S warranty.

THE COMPANY will repair or replace (f.o.b. Factory, Naples, Maine) products returned by the CUSTOMER to the factory, Naples, Maine, transportation pre-paid, within said five (5) year period found by THE COMPANY to have been defective. The foregoing is the full extent of the responsibility of THE COMPANY. In no event shall THE COMPANY be liable for delay caused by defects, for consequential damages, or any charges of the expense of any nature incurred without its written consent. The cost of repair or replacement shall be the exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty.

EXCLUSIONS: This warranty will not apply to any product that has been repaired or altered outside of the Naples, Maine factory other than by THE COMPANY, which in our judgment in any respect affects its condition or operation. THE COMPANY does not warranty Driving Caps, and the galvanized metal finish on galvanized metal hardware. Notice of a discovered defect covered under this warranty must be forwarded by CUSTOMER to GREAT NORTHERN DOCKS, INC. P.O. Box 1615, Naples, Maine 04055, and received at the factory prior to the expiration of the warranty five (5) years from the date of purchase shown on CUSTOMER’s invoice. NOTICE It shall be the responsibility of the owner (purchaser) to check all federal, state, local codes and obtain permits needed for compliance before installation of our products
