Winch mounts to 1.5″ schedule 40 Pipe with a foot on the base. This is used to jack the dock sections up and down during installation and leveling adjustments to sections of the dock as water levels may fluctuate.
There is a galvanized steel hook made to fit a 2×6 stringer when lifting.
To avoid confusion when buying pipe that fits in this, the industry standard calls the pipe size as 1.5″ schedule 40 but the O.D. is actually 1 7/8″.
