  • Function: Fastens to a floating dock frame and holds it in position when a pipe leg goes through it
  • Materials: Galvanized steel (requires four 3/8″ carriage bolts)
  • The “post guide” is used to go around a pipe that is driven next to the floating dock. This bolts to the frame and helps hold it in position.

Description

Long Post Guide: Allows water level more fluctuation than the regular post guide. As water level changes, the distance to and from shore changes.

Use 1.5″ schedule 40 Galvanized Pipe driven through the opening. When water is high, pipe would go nearest the shore end of this bracket and with water low, the pipe would be away from the shore end of the opening. The longer hole prevents the opening from binding on the driven pipe as the ramp pulls the dock in when water level goes down.

From the initial site review, where the team came out and created options on paper, to the prompt delivery, everything went smoothly. When my installers were short some pipe, I called and GND quickly cut a 20’ pipe into two pieces and had it ready to go within the hour for no extra charge. They also gave me a refund for a few extra pieces that I had left over after installation.The dock itself is great looking, well constructed, and very functional for fun summer days on the lake; whether boating or just relaxing on the dock.
