Swing-Up Aluminum Swim Ladders

Vertical or 20º Slanted marine grade aluminum ladders for docks and swim floats

Our Swim Dock Ladders are marine grade aluminum  and swing up on the deck for convenience of storage when not in use. Both swim ladders have a non-skid texture that is foot friendly. The 20º Swim Ladder is a favorite because it takes no upper body strength to climb and has a wider ladder step making it a bit more foot friendly than our vertical swim ladder. The Vertical Swim Ladder is quality, with appealing value.

Both dock swim ladders use the same handles but the distance between each is slightly different when mounting them to your dock, boat or swim raft. We make ladders specific to our docks for ease of installation. The Dura-LITE™ swim ladder handles snap on to our Dura-LITE™ Aluminum extrusion so there is no need to drill mounting holes. The MPD handles mount to the MPDs (Molded Plastic Docks) pre-molded bolt locations. The more common handles for wood docks, swim rafts, etc. are made to bolt to the deck surface and through the side of the frame for the proper strength required.

When choosing a ladder for your existing dock that’s not a Dura-LITE™ or an MPD, you will be best served by our standard handles for wood docks. These handles work with your choice of 20º or vertical ladder. When ordering a ladder for your swim area, look below to help choose the Swim Dock Ladder that’s right for you.

20º Dock Ladder

  • Dock Ladder with 20º slant makes it easy to climb
  • Non-skid, foot friendly tread for traction when wet
  • Swings up for easy storage
  • Mounts to wood docks, Great Northern Docks aluminum sections, and Great Northern Docks MPDs.

Vertical Dock Ladder

  • Excellent value, longer depth for docks that are high above water
  • Non-skid, foot friendly tread for traction when wet
  • Swings up for easy storage
  • Mounts to wood docks, Great Northern Docks aluminum sections, and Great Northern Docks MPDs.
