Our Swim Dock Ladders are marine grade aluminum and swing up on the deck for convenience of storage when not in use. Both swim ladders have a non-skid texture that is foot friendly. The 20º Swim Ladder is a favorite because it takes no upper body strength to climb and has a wider ladder step making it a bit more foot friendly than our vertical swim ladder. The Vertical Swim Ladder is great quality too and costs a little less. Both Dock Swim ladders use the same handles but the distance between each is slightly different when mounting them to your dock, boat or swim raft. We make ladders specific to our docks for ease of installation. The DuraLITE swim ladder handles snap on to our DuraLITE Aluminum extrusion so there is no need to drill mounting holes. The MPD handles mount to the MPDs (Molded Plastic Docks) pre-molded bolt locations. The more common handles for wood docks, swim rafts, etc. are made to bolt to the deck surface and through the side of the frame for the proper strength required. When choosing a ladder for your existing dock, if it’s not a DuraLITE dock or an MPD, you would most likely be happy with the handles we make standard for to common wood docks and you can choose the 20º or vertical ladder.
