Sam’s enthusiasm for classic nautical lighting inspired his brother, Stephen Merriam, an engineer, to conceptualize this solar lantern. With the design services of Silicon Solar, the brothers merged solar technology with the likes of yesteryear’s maritime oil lamps. Made with a marine grade anodized aluminum housing, circuitry sealed from the elements, and a UV protected lens, the ShoreLight ™ is made to provide you with years of reliable service while adding an elegant accent in keeping with your marine environment.
